Data protection and sport - The key issues to consider

The General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’), which comes into effect in the European Union on 25 May 2018 and rewrites European data protection law, is highly significant for sports bodies. The Regulation directly impacts on commercial and regulatory functions.
