ADVERTISING: German Federal Court of Justice rules that adblocking and whitelisting is legal

I ZR 154/16, German Federal Court of Justice, 19 April 2018

The developer of adblocking software, Eyeo GmbH, has won a long and in many ways game changing battle against Axel Springer SE, Europe’s largest digital publishing company. Thus adblocking software has been confirmed as a reality for the digital economy and will be a part of the internet landscape going forward.
