How AI is driving cyber security for data protection: an NHS case study

Following the disruptive WannaCry cyber attack in May 2017, the Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust began to take its first steps towards improving its position in respect of its cyber security for health data, which includes the implementation of artificial intelligence (ĎAIí). Robin Smith, Programme Leader for the Cyber Security Programme at the Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Member of the Digital Health Legal Editorial Board, presents here a case study of the Trustís actions in this area and the impact so far.
